TEHRAN, March 2. /TASS/. The USS Abraham Lincoln was forced to leave its deployment area after an Iranian strike with four ballistic missiles, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) press service reported.
"After the attack, the US aircraft carrier left the area where it was carrying out its mission and headed towards the Indian Ocean," the IRGC stated, as quoted by IRIB.
The US Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that the carrier came under fire but was not hit.
