RABAT, March 1. /TASS/. Air defenses of Qatar shot down eighteen ballistic missiles launched from Iran, the Qatari Defense Ministry said.

"The Qatari air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed eighteen ballistic missiles launched by Iran against different sites in several areas of the emirate," the ministry said.

"The situation in the security sphere is stable and remains under control," the ministry added.
