WASHINGTON, January 26. /TASS/. The administration of US President Donald Trump described the meeting of representatives of Russia and Ukraine in the UAE as a historic event, White House Spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said.

"They had a multilateral meeting this past weekend, which didn’t get a ton of coverage, but was historic in nature, where the president's team has really brought two sides of this war to the table together to move the ball closer to peace," Leavitt said.
