The German Foreign Ministry informed Russian ambassador Sergey Nechayev that the embassy employee must leave Germany within 72 hours.
Before that, a woman with dual German-Ukrainian citizenship was detained in Berlin on suspicion of espionage for Russia, Der Spiegel said.
