WASHINGTON, January 21. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump believes that NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has a more important role in the situation around Greenland than the Danish authorities.

"I’ll be discussing it with this man right here, he's, frankly, more important," Trump told reporters at a meeting with Rutte on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

The US president added he had "no idea" when he would hold talks on Greenland with the Danish leadership.
