MINSK, January 19. /TASS/. Russia and Belarus are one whole in terms of defense, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated at a meeting with Kirov Region Governor Alexander Sokolov.

"No one should try to divide us, because it's already difficult to separate us. In terms of defense, Russia and Belarus are one whole," he said.

"Some may want to [divide us]. We are ready to defend our interests, and God will always help us," he said.
