Venezuelan authorized President Rodriguez says held long phone call with Trump

CARACAS, January 15. /TASS/. Venezuela’s authorized President Delcy Rodriguez has said she held a long phone call with US President Donald Trump on Wednesday.
"Today, I held a long phone call with US President Donald Trump, which was held in an atmosphere of mutual respect," she wrote on her Telegram channel.
According to Rodriguez, they discussed "the agenda of bilateral cooperation in the interests of <…> the [two countries’] peoples, as well as outstanding issues in relations between the governments" in Caracas and Washington.
On January 3, the United States attacked civilian and military facilities in Caracas. Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yvan Gil Pinto condemned Washington’s actions as a military aggression. A state of emergency has been imposed in Venezuela. Trump confirmed the attack on Venezuela. He also said that Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife had been captures and taken out of the country.
