NEW YORK, January 14. /TASS/. Venezuela’s authorized President Delcy Rodriguez will send an envoy to Washington to meet with senior US officials, Bloomberg reported.

"Ambassador Felix Plasencia, the chief of mission at Venezuela’s embassy in the UK and a former foreign minister, plans to visit Thursday," the news agency said, citing people familiar with the plans.

Venezuelan opposition figure Maria Corina Machado will also be in Washington on Thursday, Bloomberg added.
