MOSCOW, January 9. /TASS/. Tehran will continue developing its peaceful nuclear program, Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali told TASS in a year-end interview.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran, as a member of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), will continue its peaceful nuclear activities," he said.

He stressed that Iran’s nuclear strategic doctrine is "based on religious principles, moral considerations, and national security calculations."
