BEIRUT, December 26. /TASS/. An explosion at a Shiite mosque in the city of Homs in central Syria has killed at least three people and wounded five others, the SANA state news agency reports.

Preliminary information suggests a suicide bomber carried out the attack after entering the Imam Ali Mosque in the Wadi Al-Zahab neighborhood during Friday prayers. An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
