NEW YORK, December 19. /TASS/. The US armed forces has delivered a strike on two vessels allegedly transporting drugs in the eastern part of the Pacific Ocean, the US Southern Command said.

"Intelligence confirmed that the vessels were transiting along known narco-trafficking routes in the Eastern Pacific and were engaged in narco-trafficking operations," the command wrote on the X social network.

As a result, five people were killed. No US servicemen were harmed.
