WASHINGTON, October 9. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump announced that he intends to accept Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s invitation to address the Knesset, Israel’s parliament, according to Axios correspondent Barak Ravid.

"They want me to give a speech at the Knesset and I will definitely do that if they want me to," Ravid quoted the White House host on X. Trump also described his phone conversation with the Israeli prime minister, which took place after the Jewish state and the Palestinian movement Hamas signed agreements on the first stage of the peace plan, as great.

Meanwhile, CNN reported that Israel is preparing for a possible visit by Trump early next week.
