DOHA, June 23. /TASS/. Qatar's air defense systems successfully intercepted missiles launched toward the US-run Al Udeid Air Base, the Emirate's Defense Ministry said.

"Qatari air defenses successfully intercepted a missile attack targeting Al Udeid Air Base," it said in a statement.

According to the statement, thanks to the vigilance of the armed forces and the precautionary measures that were taken, the incident did not result in any deaths or injuries.
