TOKYO, June 17. /TASS/. Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto has departed for Russia to attend the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), the Antara news agency reported.

According to the agency, the Indonesian leader flew to Russia immediately after his visit to Singapore, where he held bilateral talks with Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong the day before.

Earlier, Indonesian Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya stated that the president is scheduled to meet with Russian leader Vladimir Putin on June 19 during his visit to Russia.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) will take place on June 18-21. This year, the event will be held under the theme "Shared Values: The Foundation of Growth in a Multipolar World." The Roscongress Foundation is the event’s organizer. TASS is the forum’s information partner.
