TEHRAN, June 16. /TASS/. Iran calls on the UN Security Council to adopt a resolution condemning Israel's attack on the country, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ismail Baghaei said.

"All UN member states, including the five permanent members of the Security Council, must take a position on this attack, condemn it, and take serious steps, including adopting a resolution with clear and unambiguous wording that condemns the attack," the diplomat said at a weekly briefing.

He also called on the US to officially label Israel's attack as aggression.
