TEL AVIV, May 17. /TASS/. The Israeli Air Force has intercepted a UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) that was launched from the east, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said.

"A short while ago, a UAV that was launched from the east was intercepted by the IAF," the IDF press service reported.

Sirens were sounded in accordance with protocol, the press service added.
