TEL AVIV, May 3. /TASS/. Israel said it attacked a military facility, surface-to-air missiles and air defense systems in Syria.

"Some time ago, the Israel Defense Forces struck a military facility, anti-aircraft cannons and infrastructure related to surface-to-air missiles in Syria," the IDF said in a statement.

The military will continue to take actions necessary to protect Israeli civilians, according to the statement.
