Engineering services checked 723 buildings in the capital

BANGKOK, March 30. /TASS/. At least 17 people were killed, 32 wounded and 83 are listed as missing as a result of the March 28 earthquake in Thailand’s capital Bangkok.

The Thairath newspaper reported that engineering services checked 723 buildings in the capital. Two of them were deemed unsafe.

A powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 8.2 struck Myanmar on March 28. The tremors were also felt in China, Thailand, and Vietnam. The death toll in Myanmar exceeds 1,000.
