UNITED NATIONS, March 26. /TASS/. The UN has expressed its condolences over the death of Channel One correspondent Anna Prokofieva in the Belgorod Region, UN Secretary-General's spokesman Stephane Dujarric said at a briefing in response to a question from a TASS correspondent.

"First of all, we send our condolences to the family and colleagues. Again, we have seen journalists pay the ultimate price in this conflict, as they have in others," he said.
