MOSCOW, March 13. /TASS/. Proposals by the United States, including the ceasefire, should be comprehensively evaluated and decided on in their entirety, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko told journalists.

"Soon, [Russian President] Vladimir Vladimirovich [Putin] will be speaking with representatives of [US President Donald] Trump regarding this topic, and there are also many issues besides the 30-day ceasefire, and this should be examined in full, completely, and then decided on accordingly. No, this is not a trick, and it will not be a trick. It will not, since we know what we need, and they know what we want," he said.

On March 11, the delegations of the US and Ukraine negotiated in Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah. The joint statement published following the talks said that Kiev is ready to accept a 30-day ceasefire and to sign the mineral agreement with Washington. In turn, the US promised to immediately cancel the pause in providing intelligence and resume military aid to Ukraine. The Russian side has not yet been officially briefed on the results of these negotiations, but communications between Russia and the US are planned, including in the near future, and maybe even today.
