THE HAGUE, March 12. /TASS/. A plane carrying former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, for whom the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant, has landed in the Netherlands, a court spokesperson said.

"I can confirm the plane landed. Will keep you informed of further developments," the spokesperson noted.

According to the NOS TV channel, Duterte will be taken to a prison in The Hague where he is expected to be placed in pre-trial detention.
