BRUSSELS, March 6. /TASS/. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has called for considering the possibility of enhancing European military presence along the Russian border.
"I will also speak about the need to augment the presence of European and NATO troops on the borders with Russia and Belarus," he stated ahead of an EU summit in Brussels, according to a broadcast on his office’s social media accounts.
"We have been talking a lot about security guarantees for Ukraine, but we need to ensure our own safety. The first thing that we need to do in Europe is to protect European borders , especially the borders with Russia and Belarus, as well as the Baltic Sea, airspace, and cyberspace," the Polish premier added.
