US Congress may censure lawmaker Green for trying to interfere with Trump's speech

NEW YORK, March 5. /TASS/. The US House of Representatives is likely to censure Democratic Congressman Al Green for trying to disrupt US President Donald Trump's address to the US Congress, Speaker Mike Johnson said.
"Absolutely shameful. He should be censured. It’s a spectacle that was not necessary. He’s made history in a terrible way, and I hope he enjoys it," Johnson said.
"I’m quite certain there’ll be many who will bring forward a resolution on him," the speaker added.
Earlier, Green tried to interrupt Trump's speech, during which the Democrat shouted that the US leader has no mandate from the American people. After several remarks, Johnson ordered Green to be escorted out of the room.
In early February, Green announced his intention to initiate impeachment proceedings against the US leader. The congressman also tried to initiate this procedure during Trump's first presidential term.
