PARIS, March 4. /TASS/. The suspension of US military aid to Kiev pushes the prospect of a peaceful settlement of the Ukraine conflict further away, Minister Delegate for European Affairs at the French Foreign Ministry Benjamin Haddad said on France 2 TV channel.

"Does the decision [of Washington] to suspend [supplies of] weapons to Ukraine strengthen or undermine peace? It undermines it," the minister noted.

Earlier, a Pentagon official told TASS that the US Armed Forces had suspended supplies of military aid to Ukraine. According to the source, the move concerns all US military equipment that has not yet reached Ukraine, including weapons shipped by aircraft and vessels or waiting to be shipped from transit zones in Poland.
