CAIRO, March 3. /TASS/. At least 25 Palestinians have been detained by the Israeli military in the West Bank in the past 12 hours, the Palestinian Prisoners Society said.

According to its post in Facebook (Facebook is banned in Russia due to its ownership by Meta, which has been designated as extremist), there are a woman and several minors among those detained. Detentions took place in the Bethlehem, Hebron, Ramallah, Jericho, and Salfit Governorates.

It also said that the Israeli military continues operations near the cities of Jenin and Tulkarm.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on January 21 that it had launched a large-scale counter-terrorist operation near Jenin in the West Bank, which was dubbed Iron Wall. The Times of Israel reported, citing a source, that the operation began with drone strikes targeting infrastructure facilities in Jenin, with Israeli forces entering the city. On January 27, the IDF began an operation in Tulkarm and then expanded operations to several other Palestinian neighborhoods in this area.
