Kazakh president hopes for more meetings with Putin during Moscow visit

When assessing the bilateral relations, the Kazakh leader underlined the importance of the official visit by Putin to Astana in November 2024, during which both sides reached "all necessary agreements"

ASTANA, February 12. /TASS/. Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev asked at a meeting with Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu to extend his regards to President Vladimir Putin, hoping to hold further meetings with him during his upcoming trip to Moscow.

"I believe it to be of utmost importance to publicly extend my greetings to Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. We will hold additional meetings during my visit to Moscow. In general, the situation [regarding partnership between the two countries] appears quite successful, with cooperation developing in a positive manner," Tokayev said.
