According to Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz, investment by European and US companies would be the best safeguard for peace in Ukraine

MOSCOW, February 4. /TASS/. Polish Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz has told the Polsat TV channel that he cannot envision a situation where Polish troops will be deployed to Ukraine.

"It’s hard to imagine a scenario like that; we are making no such arrangements," he said, when asked if Polish troops could be sent to Ukraine on a peacekeeping mission.

"It certainly won’t be a favorable decision for any of Russia’s neighboring countries to enter [Ukraine]," the Polish defense chief added.

According to him, investment by European and US companies would be the best safeguard for peace in Ukraine. "It is the Donald Trump administration that is acting somewhat along these lines, speaking about various natural resources," Kosiniak-Kamysz explained.
