BEIJING, January 21. /TASS/. Sino-Russian multilateral cooperation helps move the system of global governance in a positive direction, Chinese President Xi Jinping said.

"Our countries closely interact within the UN, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, BRICS and other international platforms," he said during a video conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Xi Jinping clarified that "such communication gives positive energy for the reform and development of the global governance system."
