Ukraine’s General Staff admits tense situation along entire frontline

MOSCOW, December 27. /TASS/. Ukraine’s General Staff reported a tense situation for Ukrainian troops along the entire frontline.

"The frontline situation remains complex and tense," Ukraine’s General Staff said on its Telegram channel.

The Ukrainian army reported earlier on Friday that its forces were retreating to the border of the Dnepropetrovsk Region from the Kiev-controlled territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic "to the last defensive line" in that area.

Ukrainian Army Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky said in a phone talk with Chief of the UK Defense Staff Admiral Tony Radakin on December 19 that the situation remained "extremely tense" on the front. Ukrainian commanders of various levels have been lately describing the frontline situation as very complex.
