TEL AVIV, December 25. /TASS/. A drone, launched from Yemen, has fallen "in an open area" in Israel’s south, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF)’s press service said.

Civil defense sirens sounded in a number of Israeli districts bordering the Gaza Strip earlier in the day. According to the Ynet news portal, an air raid warning was issued in Ashdod, a major Mediterranean port city.

No reports of damage or casualties have been received so far.
