Uzbek president arrive in St. Petersburg to attend CIS, EAEU summits

ST. PETERSBURG, December 24. /TASS/. Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has arrived in St. Petersburg on a working visit to take part in the summits of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), his press service said.
"President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Russia on a working visit. He was welcomed at the Pulkovo international airport by St. Petersburg governor Alexander Beglov and other officials," it said.
The leaders are expected to discuss ways of expanding mutually beneficial cooperation within the CIS and EAEU. They will sum up the results of joint work, exchange views on priority areas of practical cooperation next year.
