MOSCOW, December 23. /TASS/. Ukraine must prepare for inevitable negotiations with Russia following Donald Trump's victory in the US presidential race, Sergey Leshchenko, an adviser to the head of the Ukrainian leader's office, said on air of a Ukrainian telethon.

"We acknowledge that the United States has undergone significant shifts, which will require us to be ready for dialogue," Leshchenko added. "When Trump went to the polls, he pledged to end this war. Now, he will assess who is ready for such a resolution," he noted.

At the same time, Leshchenko clarified that "there will be no repeat of Minsk or Istanbul agreements," meaning there would be no agreements resembling the Minsk accords of 2015 or the Istanbul talks of spring 2022.
