Hungary's Orban sees Trump as 'man of peace,' believes he will resolve Ukraine conflict
The Hungarian prime minister met with the US president-elect three times this year at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida
BUDAPEST, December 19. /TASS/. US President-elect Donald Trump is a peace-loving man who hates bloodshed and therefore will do all he can to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said in an interview with the Mandiner magazine.
"He is a man of peace, he hates bloodshed, he did not start a single war during his first presidential term and ended the ones he could," the head of the Hungarian government said. Orban met with Trump three times this year at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.
Orban confirmed that Hungary is counting on Trump, who promised to address the Ukrainian problem after taking office. The Prime Minister believes that "the new American leadership will confront the pro-war Brussels elite on the issue of war" in Ukraine.
