MOSCOW, December 13. /TASS/. A serviceman of Ukraine’s 126th separate territorial defense brigade Alexander, who fought in the Kherson area, has admitted that there is a shortage of soldiers in the ranks of the Ukrainian army.
"Yes, I think this is no secret to anyone. We don't have enough people [in our brigade] either. I think, like everywhere else now, that there are not enough of them [in the ranks of the Ukrainian armed forces]. A lot depends on the commanders, on their experience," he told a Russian journalist who identified himself as Ukrainian.
The serviceman also noted that there are such commanders who send their subordinates to their deaths, for example, as on the islands in the Dnieper area. "How many guys just went and died stupidly. Nobody even knows where they are, what's with them. This is the situation. There are different commanders. We had such commanders who collect money," he added.
