LONDON, December 11. /TASS/. Vladimir Zelensky sought to explain Ukraine's need for security guarantees in any negotiated end to the conflict at a meeting with US President-elect Donald Trump, Reuters reports, citing sources.

According to the sources, Zelensky’s meeting with Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris lasted 35 minutes.

"Several officials close to Trump have said he has geared his meetings to building a personal rapport, which is key to how he conducts diplomacy," Reuters notes.
