BRUSSELS, December 7. /TASS/. EU ambassadors have once again failed to finalize the 15th package of sanctions on Russia, Politico reports.

According to the media outlet, Latvia and Lithuania refused to back the package because it extended a provision allowing Western firms to keep working in Russia. However, diplomats hope to approve the package before the end of the year.

EUobserver reported earlier that the European Union’s 15th package of sanctions on Russia would blacklist 54 individuals and 29 entities.
