MOSCOW, December 4. /TASS/. The Russian military industrial complex is operating effectively, and military technical cooperation between the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) is ongoing, CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov said on Wednesday.

"Military-technical cooperation between the CSTO countries continues," he said, speaking at a press conference. "I must say that the Russian military-industrial complex is working very efficiently."

"As for the delivery of arms and military equipment to the CSTO states, these are, by and large, matters related to bilateral military-technical cooperation," Tasmagambetov noted. "The issue currently being discussed within the CSTO framework is the equipping of the collective forces with modern and advanced weapons and military equipment, which are accountable to the Collective Security Treaty Organization."
