Swiss court to review Nord Stream 2 operator’s debt
The bankruptcy procedure for Nord Stream 2 AG has been renewed until January 2025. Transliq AG remains the temporary administrative receiver
MOSCOW, December 4. /TASS/. A court in Switzerland will review an agreement on restructuring the debt of Nord Stream 2 AG, which was offered by the Nord Stream gas pipeline operator to its lenders, the company said in a statement on the website of the Swiss official commercial bulletin.
"Talks on whether the debt restructuring agreement of November 21, 2024, offered by Nord Stream 2 AG to its lenders can be confirmed by the court or should be rejected will take place on December 20 in Zug, with a judge in attendance."
The bankruptcy procedure for Nord Stream 2 AG has been renewed until January 2025. Transliq AG remains the temporary administrative receiver.
It is not possible at the moment to determine the timeframe for restoring the operability of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines following the explosions that occurred in September 2022.
