SEOUL, December 3. /TASS/. The South Korean won fell against the dollar after the emergency martial law introduced in the country, the Yonhap news agency reports.

The national currency dropped to 1,430 Won per dollar from 1,403 Won according to the previous trading session data. This is the lowest level since October 26, 2022, when the exchange rate was 1,432 Won per dollar.

South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol declared an "emergency martial law" earlier today.
