MOSCOW, December 3. /TASS/. Evacuation orders have been issued for 180 populated areas in Ukraine’s northern Sumy Region, Vladimir Artyukh, head of the regional military administration, told the national TV marathon.

"A total of 180 settlements are expected to be evacuated," he noted. "Almost 40,000 people have been evacuated from the five-kilometer border area, but there is still much work to be done," the official added.

According to Artyukh, three evacuation waves have taken place in the Sumy Region since February 2022, with families with children evacuated forcibly.
