SEOUL, November 27. /TASS/. The administration of Joe Biden and the team of US President-elect Donald Trump are "working together as a united front" in response to the situation in Ukraine, according to reports from the South Korean leader's office following discussions with the Ukrainian delegation.

On Wednesday, South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol met with Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, who was serving as a special envoy for Vladimir Zelensky. The envoy also held meetings with his South Korean counterpart and the head of the country's national security department.

"The sides agreed to continue exchanging information regarding the deployment" of North Korean soldiers to Russia and the transfer of technology and weapons between Russia and North Korea, the administration said. "They also emphasized their commitment to cooperating and maintaining communication with the United States, noting that the Biden administration and President-elect Donald Trump are working together as a united front on the situation in Ukraine," the statement said.

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said the strategic cooperation between Moscow and Pyongyang is nothing unusual or extraordinary, despite the West's attempts to present it otherwise.

Commenting on satellite images previously released by Seoul, which allegedly show evidence of North Korean military personnel in Russia, President Vladimir Putin described the claims as "serious." However, he emphasized that NATO personnel have been directly involved in the Ukrainian conflict for some time. Putin also highlighted that the Strategic Partnership Treaty between Moscow and Pyongyang includes a provision on joint defense.
