NEW YORK, November 26. /TASS/. European intelligence agencies are worried that the continent may see a rise in weapons smuggling and an influx of Ukrainian soldiers after the conflict in Ukraine comes to an end, Bloomberg said.
According to the agency, the European intelligence community is preparing for potential threats, namely the possibility of Ukrainian troops flooding the continent and arms trafficking.
The Idnes news portal reported on November 12 that Czech security services believe crime will rise in the country after the conflict is over and Ukrainian soldiers arrive in the Czech Republic to reunify with their families who fled Ukraine due to the conflict.
At a meeting with senior officials from Russia’s foreign ministry, Russian President Vladimir Putin set forth the conditions for resolving the situation in Ukraine, which included Ukraine withdrawing troops from Donbass and Novorossia and abandoning plans to join NATO. In addition, Moscow insists that all Western sanctions be lifted and Ukraine’s non-bloc and non-nuclear status be guaranteed.
