NEW YORK, November 26. /TASS/. US President-elect Donald Trump has promised to impose an additional 10% tariff on all goods from China due to the alleged large amounts of Chinese drugs entering the US.

"I have had many talks with China about the massive amounts of drugs, in particular fentanyl, being sent into the United States - but to no avail," Trump wrote on his Truth Social page. According to him, the Chinese authorities promised to take action to ensure the end of drug trafficking, but, as the president-elect has said, they never did and the flow of Chinese drugs continues in unprecedented amounts, mostly through Mexico.

"Until such time as they stop, we will be charging China an additional 10% tariff, above any additional tariffs, on all of their many products coming into the United States," Trump emphasized.
