KABUL, November 26. /TASS/. Afghanistan expects Russia to help it neutralize the pressure of the Western countries and the US, Deputy Prime Minister Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar said.

"We have tried to create conditions for increasing exports of Afghan goods abroad and attracting foreign investment in Afghanistan. As you know, after the victory of the Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan, the US and Western countries are putting all kinds of pressure on us. So we expect Russia to help us neutralize this pressure," he said at a meeting with Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu.

"We can assure you that the Islamic Emirate is a reliable economic partner. Our security services have done a lot to stabilize the situation. <...> As a result of their efforts, the IS (the Islamic State terrorist group, banned in Russia - TASS) in Afghanistan has been destroyed and moved to other countries," Baradar concluded.
