ISTANBUL, November 25. /TASS/. An explosion has occurred at the Tupras oil refinery in the western Turkish city of Aliaga.

According to preliminary information, the incident occurred at about 8 p.m. (local time) in the oil heating furnace and caused a fire, the A-haber TV channel reported.

No injuries have been reported so far; the cause of the incident is being investigated. Firefighting teams from the city and the Izmir Province have been dispatched to the refinery.
