German activists demand compensation from Ukraine for Nord Stream explosion
The statement’s authors stressed that blowing up the Nord Stream pipelines was not aimed at Russia alone but "above all, was directed against Germany, its interests, and economy"
MOSCOW, November 25. /TASS/. The involvement of Ukrainian intelligence in blowing up the Nord Stream gas pipelines is clear, and therefore, the Kiev regime must compensate for Germany’s damage and lost profits, Germany’s Stoppt die Sanktionen ("Stop the Sanctions") movement said in a statement made available to TASS.
The statement was issued following new details about the pipeline blast revealed by Der Spiegel. Its investigation shows how the terrorist attack was planned by the Kiev regime.
"The responsibility for this terror attack undoubtedly lies fully with the Ukrainian government and intelligence. This was a targeted attack on Germany and our economic foundations, which cannot be tolerated. Ukraine must be held fully liable for both the physical damage incurred and the lost profits," the movement declared.
The statement’s authors stressed that blowing up the Nord Stream pipelines was not aimed at Russia alone but "above all, was directed against Germany, its interests, and economy." "A former Ukrainian intelligence officer admitted to destroying the pipelines in order to eliminate Russia’s source of income. However, the real instigator is the US, which has opposed the project from the start and is the main beneficiary of the pipelines’ destruction," the statement reads.
The Stoppt die Sanktionen movement, supported by members of the Bundestag, demanded that Germany halt any support for Ukraine until the Ukrainian government is held accountable and the terror attack is reparated. "The Ukrainian government must be held responsible immediately, without any negotiations," the activists said. "The terrorist attacks against Nord Stream must be compensated fully and without delay. There must be no negotiations or excuses," they stressed.
