France only finishes off Ukraine by allowing it to strike inside Russia — diplomat
Zakharova said earlier that no attempts by "French warmongers" would change the outcome of the conflict
MOSCOW, November 23. /TASS/. By allowing to use its long-range missiles for strikes inside Russia, France in no way supports Ukraine but rather finishes it off, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.
"This is not support for Ukraine, it is finishing it off," she told TASS, commenting on French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot’s statements.
Zakharova said earlier that no attempts by "French warmongers" would change the outcome of the conflict.
The top French diplomat told BBC earlier that there were no "redlines" as far as support for Ukraine was concerned. According to Barrot, French long-range missile can be used against Russia for the reasons of Ukraine’s "self-defense." He did not confirm, however, whether French missiles had already been used. When asked whether the French military could be deployed to the battlefield, the French foreign minister said that no option was excluded.
