MINSK, November 22. /TASS/. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko believes the world is on the edge of a Third World War.

"We have been discussing a lot recently the possibility of a Third World War breaking out, and how we are on the brink of this catastrophic event. However, thankfully, humanity has managed to prevent it so far and has not yet plunged into a Third World War," Lukashenko said during a meeting with students from several humanities universities. A segment of his speech was aired by the First Information Channel.

He also emphasized that a real information war has been underway for a long time. "It’s true that a genuine information war is going on," the president stated. According to him, information is the key driving force behind the world.
