Robert Fico pointed out that "more and more evidence show that the West seeks to prolong the war in Ukraine for various reasons"

BELGRADE, November 22. /TASS/. The continuation of hostilities in Ukraine suits Vladimir Zelensky because of the incessant inflow of Western aid to Kiev, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said in an interview with the Radio Television of Serbia.

"I have long defended my position and repeat it again: more and more evidence show that the West seeks to prolong the war in Ukraine for various reasons. Ultimately, I believe the war benefits President Zelensky, as aid continues to flow into Ukraine," he said.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Zelensky perceives the continuation of the Ukrainian conflict as the only way to stay in power.
