NEW YORK, November 21. /TASS/. US President-elect Donald Trump will try to restore peace in the world relying on the American power, Trump’s campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt told TASS, commenting on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s address, which contained, among other things, a warning for the West about the danger of its course towards further escalation in Ukraine.

"The American people re-elected President Trump because they trust him to lead our country and restore peace through strength around the world. When he returns to the White House, he will take the necessary action to do just that," Leavitt, whom Trump recently appointed the White House Spokeswoman in the upcoming administration, said.

Trump’s inauguration will take place on January 20, 2025.
